I have a water softner system in place, it helps but does not eliminate it completely. I have heard that I can add chlorine to my well to clean it up but I don't know how to do this. Can anyone help me?

I tried spray paint, which looked nice, but it scratches very easily.

I burned a pan on the stove that I forgot about and now it's totally smokey in here. I've open windows and put on some fans but the smoke isn't going away fast enough and it's starting to give me a headache, any ideas on getting rid of it? Air freshener does nothing

I got some white socks for Christmas and I washed them, but now they're all linty. Would washing and drying them again help to get rid of the lint?

Maybe colored brooms and cleaning equipment would appeal to women and help motivate them to clean up the house more for us men?

I like Viva, it's strong and I can re-rinse it. It took me years to find a brand I liked. I don't care about price, I just like the towels to be strong.

my friend is getting help from a friend on putting the wood flooring for her flat. Her friend is not a specialist but has done it once for his own flat. He said the average rate per day is GBP120.

How much do you think my friend should pay him for this job? a lump sum of lets say, GBP500? how long does it normally take to finish a typical 2-bedroom flat (a new built)?

thanks a lot.

My hot water has been leaking in my tub for a week now. I have called her several times but she still hasn't sent anyone to fix it. The problem is that it is running up my electric bill because of my hot water tank always going. This has happened before and it blew up my hot water tank and doubled my electric bill and they should have paid it but they didn't. Even though it was their fault. Do I have the right to sue them for the electric bill or should I just make them fix it and leave it alone?
