Craftsman 2 stage snowblower with 5hp engine.
Stalls when choke is opened... works fine when choke is closed.
Starts easily with choke closed and no smoke.

How can I fix this? Thank you

The timer on the dryer does not move and stays in one position. What would cause the dryer to not shut off and no heat? The dryer is about 8 yrs old and GE Brand and a Gas Dryer.

I'm looking to buy the Guardian Ultrasource 17,500 watt generator as a back-up generator for my home. It comes with either a 50 or 60 amp transfer switch (see below). My electrician said that a 50 amp switch is not powerful enough to transfer all 17,500 watts from the generator to the house. He said I would need something closer to 100 amps, and that it would cost about $400 or so.

I don't know much about electricity, but I figure that the manufacturer of a 17,500 watt generator probably wouldn't include a 50 or 60 amp switch, unless their engineers had determined they were a good match for each other.

One last note: The Guardian PDF spec sheet says a "60A Manual Transfer Switch" is included, but the Guardian website says a "50-amp high power outlet" is included.

So who's right? My electrician, or the folks at Guardian generators?

Who do I contact to get the foundation inspected and if the foundation is not fixable who would I contact to get a new foundation? The house is a VERY large 2 story one acre house. All the other stuffed (pipes, electrial, etc are still good, for a couple more years. Sorry can't say the price of the house then I would get bias results. It's got fair marktet value. Thanks.

I would like to plant some evergreens in my backyard to block out my neighbors, but I would like something with a little different color other than regular green. The point where they will be planted is actually about 10' above my house, so they do not need to grow very high to really block out my neighbor. I saw some Canadian Hemlock today that looked like it had a different green color. Any suggestions is this is a good idea to plant or any other suggestions on what to plant.

... to use an approved plastic tubing, or copper tubing?

And if the water connection is right behind the refrigerator (it's a brand new house), how long a tube do I need?

Thank you!

My sister-in-law is so nasty that she once told me that she keeps a pair of tongs by the sink because she leaves her water in the sink, and one time reached in and grabbed a dead mouse. She buys new clothes and dishes when she runs out of clean ones and doesn't want to wash them. I have found unidentifiable food products under her couch. Anybody else know someone like this? Are there really other people in the world this nasty?
