My sister-in-law is so nasty that she once told me that she keeps a pair of tongs by the sink because she leaves her water in the sink, and one time reached in and grabbed a dead mouse. She buys new clothes and dishes when she runs out of clean ones and doesn't want to wash them. I have found unidentifiable food products under her couch. Anybody else know someone like this? Are there really other people in the world this nasty?

Yes, there really, really, REALLY are other people in the world this nasty - or even more so!

I had a neighbor who, shall I say, is domestically challenged? It had gotten to the point that I could not go to her house. Last time I went, I brought a kitchen towel with me - to put on the sofa so I could sit down! The sofa itself is so nasty.

She had to buy a new stove because as she put it, "there were too many mice living in the bottom of it", as if ONE mouse would be acceptable, or even a few.

Her kids were just as disgusting, filthy all the time. She frequently asked me how I got my kids clothes so clean - I told her, "I wash them!".

When her dog died, she let the body lay on the carpet for a couple of days. Of course that is disgusting, but the decomposition started, and it destroyed the carpeting and the wood floor underneath! So she had to have that "cleaned", which did not really work.

Nasty? You bet. Glad I moved.

Nasty? Try lazy. Such a pity!

And yes, there's lots of people in the world who'd rather spend more money to buy new than clean up or upkeep their older possessions.

Unfortunately YES, and I would dare say that I hope they do not have small children in their homes. Why would a grown woman want to be so reckless. The price of clothes is so much higher than dish soap.I would love to know when she gets ready to throw out her dishes, I would gladly pick them up for her.OH to be so well off, to not care about money...Easy come easy go??

Yes, I've known a few. Am grateful I don't have to sleep with any of them.
