There's a wall between the vanity and a fiberglass tub/shower stall in my master bath. There's no electrical in the wall, or pipes either, as far as I can tell. It's tight up againts the side of the vanity and at the foot of the bathtub, opposite the spigot/shower head. I think it might be there just to support/seperate the shower stall. How can I be sure it's not load-bearing, before I take a hammer to it and it's too late?

I have recently bought a house. The previous owner has stuck mate adhesive tapes to cover all windows from half length to the bottom. I have spent half a day removing just one side of the window and it was not successful. I have used sharp objects to scratch the tape off. I have used this spray material called "Goof Off" which supposed to be an adhesive remover. But it makes it harder by smoothening the edges stuck to the window. How can I easily remove the adhesive tape from my glass windows? Is there a special technique to do it?

I would say the previous owners smoked; the plastic louvers and casing for the whole house fan are very yellowed, very ugly. As the ceiling is repainted and pretty light fixtures are installed, this whole house fan casing is standing out uglier and uglier. It sits right above the staircase, so reaching it is problematic.

Can this plastic be painted, covered, treated, replaced?

It is a concrete slab that sits above a brick ledge. We've not even moved in yet. What causes this? What can we do about it?

Planning to install a hot tub. I have done this before but always burried the conduit. Due to location of existing utilitys this would be very hard. Seems easier to just come across side of house and under deck. The location is such that physical damage and sunlight should be minimal. What do you guys think? Also anyone know what the electrical code says about this?
Planning on using 6awg in 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 sunlight resistant pvc grey conduit.
Thank you in advance for your input.

I found the dresser in the basement brought it upstairs sanded it and started painting, the next day there was a horrible "old" smell, I tried spraying it with vinegar, using baking soda and carpet fresh, febreeze, lysol, and last but not least another coat of paint ( thought I could seal the smell in ) now the dresser is sitting on the front porch in hopes that the air will do it some good, any other suggestions.... will try anything in case you didn't notice lol thanks in advance

I have a 10" Delta table saw.

It's useful, but God Almighty, it is so loud I wince even when I look at it.

I even have psycho earplugs and earmuffs.

Are there blades that are designed to make less noise ?

Anyone have an efficient way to mop clean/cloth clean the bathroom floor?

I've tried Lysol and did it by hand with cloth, and the Swiffer wet pads don't really collect dust and particles. Any ideas?

I got all the activities planned out for the housewarming party (add something if ya like that I can try). One more thing, If ya'll have already had a housewarming before, please tell me what you put on the invitation. My mom is an Marshall, and So am I, and I have a brother and a sister who are Marshall's also. My other brother's last name is named after our dad and which is Googoo, and our dad is a Googoo. My parents aren't married. So I tried "The Marshalls OR Googoos Invite you..." But we got 2 diff lastnames. So that plan didn't work out. So please someone help us out! lol.
