I'd like to use the seeds from a pumpkin that I'm going to carve. Do I need to do anything special to them before planting them?

My husband and I removed our carpet from our new home and replaced it with a different color instead. It's sitting in the garage and I'm concerned it will get dirty. We removed the carpet a week after we moved in, It is about 7 rooms worth of carpet with the padding. We want to sell it for a reasonable price, but don't know of anyone who needs carpet or a business who buys.

I recently moved to an apartment without an insinkerator. I'm wondering how paranoid I need to be about not letting food particles go down the drain to avoid it getting clogged.

I'm not talking about calling the bug man here...I'm talking about something just short of burning the place to the ground. New York city is infested and they are all over the place and immune to all the bug sprays. Anyone had a real success with getting rid of them completely?? Thanks

My furnace has been short cycling. As a remedy it was brought to my attention to check my air conditioning coil. Upon looking at the coil there is no real way to remove it. The coil lays at approximately a 45 degree angle. At the top there is approximately a 1 inch gap, between coil and side. I was able to reach a few fingers in and found I couldn't even feel the coil. It was covered with dust and who knows what else. It was suggested to me to use Evap Powr Coil Cleaner. This is an interior no rinse application. Will this work? How often should one clean the coil?

I'm thinking about buying one. I don't know anyone who has one, so I'd like some opinions, from people who have one or know someone who has one.

I just moved to a new apartment and we have a gas heater. It is a square gray thing in the wall with a pipe attached to it. How does this heater work? Does it circulate through the walls and warm all the rooms? It doesn't seem to because when we close doors the rooms get cold?

Also, how expensive does it get? We have been keeping rooms closed that we don't use during the day to conserve heat but do we really need to do that?

I would like to hang wind chimes and lanterns on my ceiling, but I wouldn't want to install anything permanent into the ceiling; so what kind of hook could I use that would be able to transfer at a later time, that would also leave no permanent markings or holes in the ceiling? I would also like not having to add plaster on at a later time.
