I got this bowl for my wedding and I have no idea what to use it for. I already have one with candy in it; I have a nice bowl with fruit in it. I'm running out of ideas. It's a really pretty bowl! Help!

If the design is on the outside, you can use it as a planter for a flowering plant such as African Violets or Phlox. If the design is on the inside, you could get a plate easel and display it on a bookshelf alongside a pretty plant and some attractive books. You could use it as a soap dish in the bathroom( if it is a large bowl, fill it with pretty hand-milled soaps) or a potpourri bowl in the bedroom. Cover styrofoam balls with assorted seeds or green sheet moss and display them in the bowl. If the bowl is somewhat rustic, you can use it to make a cactus garden. Also, you can fill it with water and float some candles in it.

When I first got married, that was my problem.

My suggestion is to rotate it into a candy or fruit bowl when the season changes. You might get tired of using the same two bowls. Also, if you have an overflow of fruits, you would have an extra one on hand. Don't forget where you store it.

Extras: Having said that, actually-- now at this late stage in my life -- I have extras of just about everything and some of my extras, I've forgotten where they are stashed. I'm at the stage where I'm getting rid of extras and extras of extras: You'd see me or someone like me at Goodwill on your visits -- Pack Rat

At hobby stores, they have very pretty colored rocks and glass droplets; you could mix them up in colors you like and use for a conversation piece; you could put pot-pourri in it, the pretty kind with gold or silver tiny pinecones; use it to hold your spare change on the dresser; if it's tall you could use it for a pen holder... or you could just display the bowl itself, it sounds as if it might be a piece of art, a nice conversation piece?

It depends on the type of bathroom you have but if it is one with two sinks.. or a large enough place on your vanity(bathroom vanity) then you could fold up(roll up) face towels and put them in there nicely

i might want to flow chrome metal. Ceramic is secure, yet some canines opt to push their bowl round and it would want to damage. also, ceramic has little micro grooves, that if no longer washed thouroughly after each and every use, can harbor bacteria and get exceptionally nasty.
