My husband and I removed our carpet from our new home and replaced it with a different color instead. It's sitting in the garage and I'm concerned it will get dirty. We removed the carpet a week after we moved in, It is about 7 rooms worth of carpet with the padding. We want to sell it for a reasonable price, but don't know of anyone who needs carpet or a business who buys.

If you have a big convention center in your area, chances are-there is a company that will buy it. The companies usually are responsible for carpeting big displays like the auto show. Check your yellow pages for your area since you didn't tell us where you live.

put an ad in the paper....someone will be excited as they may know how to lay it....don't expect much money as the new owner will probably have to use 4-6 foot strips in laying....
