I have recently bought a house. The previous owner has stuck mate adhesive tapes to cover all windows from half length to the bottom. I have spent half a day removing just one side of the window and it was not successful. I have used sharp objects to scratch the tape off. I have used this spray material called "Goof Off" which supposed to be an adhesive remover. But it makes it harder by smoothening the edges stuck to the window. How can I easily remove the adhesive tape from my glass windows? Is there a special technique to do it?

Get yourself a flat razor.(the type that has the dull handle on the opposite side of the blade). Pry up a corner of the tapes and at the same time you are pulling on the tape, undercut more of the tape with the razor. It might also help to wet the whole thing thouroughly with windex.

Try a little WD-40. Spray it on, give it about 15 minutes. It's worked for me to remove tape.

One way is to use a razor blade to remove the old tape. Or pickup some zippo lighter fluid or equivalent and try that

Spray it with WD-40... let it sit a while then use a straight edge razor blade to remove it.... Also Glass Plus should work...

I would try to scrap it with a razor it should help getting the smooth edges up then slowly pull down while using the razor's edge to follow beneath so it all comes off!

WD-40 and a razor blade has worked for me in the past. Sometimes lighter fluid will work too.
