My dorm room is kinda dull. What can we decorate with besides posters? We can't use tacks on the wall. We aren't supposed to take out or put more furniture in. We can't have candles, even if they are just decorative.

I am in NJ and lately, I've noticed that a lot of flying bugs look like mosqutios in one section of my lawn. This is the end of summer and beginning of fall and it's hard to say they are mosquitos. I never noticed this kind of bugs in summer.

Does anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them ?

to about 3-4 ft, large oval leaves up to about 10" long, pinkish-green soft stems, and clusters of dark berries similar to clusters of grapes just smaller. The berries appear to be ripe now - end of September in upstate New York.

have tried using gasoline, paint thinner and can get most off the valves but the engine inside is really hard to clean. Tried wire brush but still cannot get everywhere and i think that is what is making my valves stick. I have plenty of new oil in the bottom of the engine. Is there something I can spray into the engine?

For the last 2 weeks water may run cold after a 15 minute shower, now it just gave out completely. Has a "991" error - Burning Error. It is getting gas, and water, I've tried cleaning the filter and resetting the unit. It always comes back to the "991" error. Any suggestions? I am hesitant to contact them for warranty repair because they say in the manual that it will not be covered unless installed by a licensed plunber, but it was installed by a unlicensed plumber. I'm pretty sure the problem is not related to the installation.

OKay so i'm going to be trying to kill the weeds in my yard soon. it is a newly planted tall fescue lawn. After i mow it 4 or 5 times i'll probably zap it. I've got what i believe to be mallow weed. so what would you reccommend an Ortho spray or a scotts weed control fertilizer?

what are the pros and cons of each, and what'll do the trick the best?

I am very bad at keeping house...not in the sense that I'm terrible at it, but in the sense that I don't do it as often as I should! I leave dishes in the sink for days, I don't vacuum more than once a month (usually I get a 'nesting' urge...women will understand that), my corner of the living room is a cluttered mess! How can I change my habits so that my apartment is clean all the time?

This is a starter kit for myself. I am not looking for something super fancy or comprehensive. But it would be nice to leave some extensibility, so that I can add more to the chest later.

I have a lightly padded sofa with really small armrests that are half wood and I know if I bought a regular slipcover it would be way too big. Is it hard to make one of those fit my sofa?
I would be open to a no-sew method, however buying sheets for it is just as expensive as getting a ready-made cover.
I can find surfit covers on eBay for $30 and I am looking for something to make/buy in that range.
