But the new location has rocky, sandy soil. How should I prepare the new spot to maximize the chances of its survival? Should I dig extra deep and dump potting soil in there? What's a good supplement for this kind of soil? Any other advice?

My dad knocked a hole into the systern thru the basement wall and its full of nice clear water all of the time. Should I close it up or just keep it? I am afraid a kid will fall in the well. Do you pay to have these filled or what?

I live in an apartment complex that refuses to fix things when they go wrong in the apartment. For example, my bathtub does not drain properly. It takes about two to three hours for it to drain after you take a shower. That is not how a tub should be. They have came up to fix it before and blamed me for putting a mop down the drain and then a washcloth, both of which I have never done. They refuse to come up and fix anything else with it. The sink is the same exact way. I dont know what I should do to get them to fix it. Is there a number to call or somewhere I could look to get help on getting my apartment to fix things? I dont know what my options are.

Ours is 7 years old. Last year we turned it up to the "HOT" setting when we noticed that the water wasn't getting that hot. I just turned it up to the A position today after we noticed that the water wasn't all that hot. The D position says "Very Hot" and has a scalding warning next to it. I know that the further you keep it below the "HOT" setting the more money you save. It's only my wife and I, not a big family so the demand on the water heater is not that great.

Thank-you.

The house is old and drafty. I would like to cut my heat bill down if at all possible, but I am not sure where most of my energy is lost. I have been thinking about moving my bedroom downstairs and closing the upstairs off, There is a bathroom up there and I am concerned about pipes and the stool becoming frozen. I have a front door no one every uses and would like to replace it, but not sure if that is the route to go. How much does it cost to install a new front door and frame and would you close off the upstairs?

I think they are very pretty, but dont want to purchase something that looks chinsey. If you have one of these lamps, are you happy with it? Do you think you spent too much? On a scale of 0-10, how do you rate your tiffany "style" lamp?

I intend use 4 stage turbine HVLP to spray latex paint. I have not found any concrete information on what the proper viscosity of the paint should be or if it can be thinned at all. Most HVLP sprayers can not spray unthinned latex.

I either have to buy a bed or futon for my apartment this fall quarter. If futons are comfortable, I would rather get one than a bed to save space. Are they comfortable?
