I have a gas stovetop. Currently, only two of my four burners ignite. The other two, when i turn the knob, click and emit gas but do not ignite. What can i do to fix them?

Take the top cover off the stove and look at the burners...the igniter (where you hear the click click) when you turn the stove on has a small tube that goes from the igniter to the burner. When you turn the gas on a small amount of gas goes from this tube to the igniter and when it is ignited burns back to the burner and lights up the rest of the burner. ... the problem is the small holes on the burner near this tube are BLOCKED so you are not getting gas through this tube to the igniter, so it is not igniting.

To solve this get a paper clip and straighten it and use the end of the clip to clean out these tin holes (probably blocked with food or cleaner like Comet). once thes holes are cleared try again..it should work!

I had a propane gas stove before, and I remember that each burner has a pilot that you need to light up so when you turn the knob the ticking sound that you hear is the spark maker that ignites if the pilot is burning. It is possible that they could of blown out so check it out.If that don't work read the stove manual. If you don't have the manual, the best I can advice is call repair man.

I have a gas stove, and sometimes i have the same problem.
Move the gas pipes, and most of the time that'll do the job!!!
