Mark on the boxes which room they should go into. Get a lot of friends to help, some to move you and some to set you up in the new place. Provide lots of cool refreshing drinks, and food!
Use linens to pack up your fragile items to maximize your packing power.
Have a friend take the stuff you don't want to move over to Salvation Army, Goodwill or a shelter.
Try to pack all the stuff you don't use on a daily basis. When you get down to a few days before your move, pull out enough clothes to get you through the move, keep your bathroom items too. Start cleaning out every cupboard. Pace yourself, and don't stress out. It will all be over soon.
Good luck Hon, moving is a chore in its own. But, with your friends, you can have fun!

Prepare in advance. Packing up valuable crystal, porcelain and other breakables requires some time. This is not the place to rush. If you are not hiring movers, start well in advance of moving day and take the time to properly pack these items.

Have the right tools. Here's what you need: quality boxes in various sizes; packing paper, bubble wrap, pliable cardboard, scissors, and packing tape. A large table to lay out your items and pack on is also an essential tool.

When I move I go get tons of boxes. Then I start in the first room and work my way to the others. I pack as much as I can in the rooms only leaving out the things I will need in the upcoming days. Such as, tooth brush, clothing etc.....With each box I pack I tape it up and then label on top of it what it is and what room it belongs. And then when I am moving boxes in my new house I try and put each box in the correct room to make for easier unpacking. Good Luck! Moving is a headache....lol

>> Wrap your breakables in newspaper or paper towel so that they don't bump together and break

>> Label all of your boxes of things with what is in them

>> Keep the boxes with things that you use everyday somewhere where you can get to them quickly (when they are in your car ormoving van)

>> Try not to stress out

Good Luck With Your Move!

if you're not moving far you should take all your fragile object and move them by your self. If not then wrap them with a lot of paper or bubble wrap.
