I need to know what the going rate is for roofing a home. I live in Texas and I was told I have approximately "30 squares" on my roof. I am trying to make sure that I get an accurate price quote from these construction companies.

What kind of air purifier is it? Does it work for spaces up to 1000 Sq ft.? Does it really remove odors quickly and permanently? Have you found less sickness, alergies and more fresh air because of your particular kind of equipement? Roughly how much did you pay? What don't you like about your air purifier if anything? Thanx!

...elegantly drape a decroative throw over a piece of furniture, say a sofa or an upholstered bench at the end of your bed? Every time I try to drape mine it ends up looking clunky and unprofessional. Any advice would be welcomed and appreciated!

Is it possible to grow a plant (bonsai style) in a small pot on a windowsill? If so, should you crack the pit a little to aid the seedling? Also, if you're growing it indoors, is it necessary to refrigerate the seed in a moist bag to simulate winter?

After a while, it tends to leave an ugly yellowing on everything it has contact with. I smoke, but hate what it does in my home. I won't go outside all the time either. Please don't say Quit! lol

My downstairs toilet has been running off and on for a few months. I just got a bill for the last three months in the mail- our usage is normally 9-11 units, this time it was 42. I watered my plants a few times when it was really hot, but only about 8-9 times, and I have a tiny yard, so I didn't use a lot. Other than the toilet, I can't seem to figure out how we could have used that much water -could one toilet *really* cause that much usage? There isn't any water in our basement, or in any of our rooms, and no evidence that the toilet is leaking below the floor.

I have someone from our burough office coming to take a look on Monday, but does anyone have any ideas? If so, what should I look for? Thanks!

I bought a pair of slip on converse (they are the ones without the laces) and I should have gotten a half size smaller because my feet tend to slip a lot around the heel. It isn't a problem, but since you can't tighten them with laces, it's hard to fix and it's kind of annoying. I can't return them and I don't want to buy another pair. If I soak them in cold water or put them in the dryer will they shrink some? Or is there anything I can put around the heel of the shoe to add extra friction? Thanks
