There are 2 rooms totalling about 500 sq.ft. that the ceilings need to be mud, taped, and textured. Then there is about 500 sq ft. of wall that needs the same, and the other 700 sq feet, have already been mud/taped and textured, but I'd like new texture (heavy knock down) on top of this. We have 1 estimate but would like another to know if I've been quoted a good price or not. The corners need the metal stripping around them as do the windows. Thanks for your time.

The bllast on mine does not say what is output, DC?? or AC? It says it is made by a transmormer Co. which I assume means a change from volts to amps, can they be run on DC, also need to know how they would be wired, or work, or maybe I need to check out if there are 12Vdc grow lights.

I have been stripping the paint off my old hinges all day. I have been simmering them in baking soda and water in the kitchen with the overhead fan on and windows open and then brushing them with a metal brush outside and then polishing with steal wool. However, I am pretty sure that some of the paint is lead my question is just how dangerous is this. Are the fumes from the boiling bad? The hardware looks amazing and I don't want to give up my project. There are no children, pregnant women, or pets in the house and there will not be for a very long time.

My hostas in my garden are varigated and plain green. This yr. a deer got in and ate some of them. When they came back up they were all green. What happend to the varigated ones? Can I put anything on them to get the white part back? It was a very hot, dry summer, could this have some effect? Thanks.

4 months ago I had a new submersible pump installed,(piping, gauges, the whole 9 yards). Things were fine for a while then my inside pressure dropped. I irrigate my acre overnight each night and can use my outdoor shower without any problems, the pressure is great. Only at my indoor showers, and sinks is the pressure quite low.
