If you're looking for something that will trail down the wall and it's in full sun, try some of the low growing/creeping sedum varieties. They don't need a lot of care...just well drained, somewhat sandy soil. Sedum sarmentosum will spread nicely within a year or 2 and has nice yellow flowers in late summer.

Other options might be some sort of ivy, creeping phlox, wintercreeper or clematis.

Not sure what your conditions are atop this wall...hope this helps a bit.
