You'll need to purchase a video capture device to go inline between your switcher and dvr . I'm using a Pinnacle 700 to record my cams output onto harddrive (500 gig hard drive holds days worth of video!). You will also need the software from a cheapie webcam to transfer images from the capture board to the web as the software that comes with the capture device usually doesn't support web use(sigh).

If you decide to record to the pc instead of the dvr you will also need software to allow the captured video to be shared by the recording program and the web program. There are a few freeware applets at download.com that handle that part.

If you need more details or info just ask.

Have a look at Netcamwatcher Pro.

I use it myself and it has some pretty powerful features. I use the FTP function (in motion detect mode) to upload the images to my own web page. This means that I can log on via my Nokia 6600 (or any other web browser) and view the images.
