I do!!!!Can I install a new sink myself????Im willing to try anything once. Any advise for me. Don't tell me to get a new hubby... I often though of it. To use to this one. HAHA Thanks..

Cant go to Lowes we don't have one in the area. Won't go to Home Depot, had problems there when ordering rugs(no one gave a me the time of day for help). Can't put a pedistal sink in...we don't have any left over tiles from the floor, and of course they don't make them any more (HOME DEPOT). I need the old type of counter, Laminate with a hole cut in it for the sink??? Thanks everyone for your help

Can't put in a one piece unit because the vanity is flush again the wall and it makes it lop sided.

Yeah you can do it. When you're done make a lampshade out of the old one and put it on the lamp that he uses and hope it falls on his head. I've got one like yours so if you've got 2 sinks, let me know and I'll buy it off you for mine!

Remove your old sink and the vanity and replace it with a pedistal sink you can chop and bang to remove the old vanity and the new one will come with new hoses and such which will make the plumbing part a cinch. You may have to do some small drywall repair and you will have to repaint ( at least one wall the multy color wall thing is in as well)

A new vanity top and sink is easy. The existing vanity top is only held on with a few screws from underneath (usu. just in the corners).

Just shut off the water at the supply lines in the cabinet, take them off at the shut off (put a cup under them to catch the water), disconnect the drain, and take off top and sink together.

When you install the new sink, put the faucet on first. It's a bitsch to work on it in place. Make sure that the screws won't go all the way through the new top when you fasten it down.

Try this website http://www.diynetwork.com/

You can also consult your local Lowes or Home Depot stores for
advice. If you are lucky you might find that they have weekend crash course at their store.

go to lows and ask them if they had the weekend class to help you with this,or if they don't then ask them how much is it going to cost you to replace it and how to do it for your self.
it's not that hard to do,you might want to get a friend to give you a helping hand with it to.

Somebody at Lowe's would be able to tell you how. Sometimes they have seminars on this kind of stuff.
