There are 2 rooms totalling about 500 sq.ft. that the ceilings need to be mud, taped, and textured. Then there is about 500 sq ft. of wall that needs the same, and the other 700 sq feet, have already been mud/taped and textured, but I'd like new texture (heavy knock down) on top of this. We have 1 estimate but would like another to know if I've been quoted a good price or not. The corners need the metal stripping around them as do the windows. Thanks for your time.

According to my bf who is in the business, $1 per sq foot; about $1500. He said to tell you he's available.

the magic question on tapping, all depends on if it was hung right first, like no nails sticking out and not allot of unnecessary joints, i always looked at the whole job and it depends on the area you live in but 45 cents plus material for a heavy knock down would be a starting point. good luck
