I have a DVD cabinet that is made to sit directly on the floor. This design doesnt sit well with me because the floor in my apartment is a bit uneven so its pretty obvious when this cabinet sits flush on the floor it teeters over a bit. I would like to add 4 legs to this cabinet but do not know how to "mount" it to the actual cabinet. What do I need? I tried to find a mounting plate of some sort and came up empty. Also a search for "table legs" also comes up with nothing. I would like the legs to be 6 or less inches tall. Not TOO tall just tall eenough so you cant see this cabinet rocking on my uneven floor! Any suggestions?

Two years ago I planted hollyhocks. In the fall of last year, I cut down the stalk and this year the stalk has grown and we've had beautiful flowers. Should I do the same?
Re: the Poppies. I only get one Poppy per year. Do these plants multiply? Does it have to be pruned?

My cabinets are painted white right now, but I really like that new color that I have seen on furniture--like an expresso color. Any suggestions on a paint color and if you did it, how did it turn out?

I am good with tools, smart and capable. I want a long, thin, one lane lap pool having a "T" or "L" shape in my backyard. The bend of the T or L would be a general swimming area for fun, and the long part and exercise lane. It's a small backyard. (The soil is clay here! I could easily make a LOT of pottery from it.)

I am moving and I need to ship my bed from IL to FL, I have everything else moved but this won't fit in my car. I checked a couple shipping services and they were all well over $450. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

The total length that they opened up is 12 foot 3 inches. At about 4 foot out there is a post which seems to be there only because there is a light switch to the dining room light on it (this is the original end of wall) When I exposed the inside of this post there are two 2x4's, one cut in half to fit in electrical box, the other whole and ends at the top of the original door frame. When I look in the attic above this wall there is a 16+ foot double header that looks at least 16"x2". Can I remove this post? I know how to move the eletrical, just not real sure about framing and structure. Thanks for any help on this.

If anyone has ever called them and gotten a pool, I'd just like to know if it was a decent pool and if the cost & financing were as good as what they advertise, or if it was just a rip-off...

I need to get the old water out before I can put the new water in. I don't want to call a pool place because this has got to be easy and they charge a frickin mint.

My floors really need sanding. I want to do it myself to save money. Is it really not doable? If it is doable, is there a good website for me to follow directions? Or can anyone provide with with directions and their experience if they've done it themselves? Greatly appreciate any input.

One accent wall thats maroon.
Three off white walls.
Wooden floor but we have a green area rug.
Matching green armchair.

What color schems could be made to work? I know its a difficult mix.

IF not a color scheme, what themses might fit. (Themes as in, forest, tropical, soccer, etc.)

Thanks!

I have about 5 rhodies in my yard. They should be fine, but 2 of them get mildew on new growth every year, and the leaves get all spotty and shriveled up.

Does anyone know how to avoid this?

Ok...I had borrowed my dads riding lawnmower to cut my grass, and as I was driving (noteven mowing yet) it made a weird clanking noise and died. My husband thinks I blew it up..but when I confronted my dad about it, he asked if I had switched speeds without moving and messed up the belts. I now realize that I did do this, but am not sure what happened. My husband can spin the part on the motor with the screened in part with his hand. What do you think happened to this? I need to find out what to do before I have to go buy a new one for my dad. It is an older one. 13 horse I think. Not sure of the brand. If it was just the belts, would my husband be able to spin this part with his hand?

Are they hard to connect? I need to put on new ones, the old ones are really bad and one leaks really slowly. My husband is gone until Wed and thought I'd try it myself.

I've beem seeing people having concrete or pavers place on each side of an ashalt driveway. Each side will have a strip about 2-3 feet wide. It's suppose to widen the driveway and keep the grass next to your driveway from burning out from the blacktop heating up. What is that called?
