I have yard ants that have been killed by just sprinkling yellow cornmeal on them. I know you mix something else with the cornmeal to get rid of the ants but I don't remember what is is.

Is there anyway to make wood water proof or a solution that is not harmeful that can be used on wood, to prevent roting if mosture touches it.

My tree is planted within my boundary lines which is about 2 feet from my neighbor's metal garage. The tree branches have grown up and over the garage and may be causing damage to the garage roof. The neighbor has asked me to remove the branches or she will have them removed at my cost. Can she do this? Should I trim the branches or let her do it. The tree has obviously been there well before the garage. The previous owners (our former neighbors) have always taken it on themself to trim the branches. Any help would be great, Thanks!

I need to extend the drain tube outside for my central A/C unit. The area where it is draining is not absoring the water and the unit has quite a bit of water around it. I purchased 1/2 x 3/8 tubing. How should I run the extension tubing so that the water drains properly? Should I keep the tube flat, should I arc the tube up and then down, or does it not matter?

I had a survey done on my property and in one corner that is concrete the surveyor placed a mark on the ground and wrote

I took out the trim and removed the old wooden window. The new window is the same size but I can't get it inside the frame because of the nailing fins. I've tried looking at the website and other website but it's really confusing. I can't understand the pictures at all. Am I suppose to fold over the bottom nailing fin and fold the sides over and nail it to the frame or cut into the window frame to get the window in there? I didn't think it would be this confusing..please help?
