I have tried everything to clean this, but alas to no avail. I even tried one of those steam-cleaners, but that didn't work either. Are there any other ways I might try to clean my stainless steel cooktop and make it look nice again ?

We have decided to swap the living room and dining rooms in our house, that is, use what is supposed to be a living room as the dining room, and visa versa. One problem is that the living room does not have an ceiling light. I would like to install some pendant lights in what is now the dining room for over the table.

My question is this... what is the best way to do this when there isn't an existing ceiling light?

The room has a wall socket that runs turns off/on using the light switch. I would like to tie it into that light switch, but don't want to have to cut into the ceiling and walls any more than is necessary.

Any advice would be great.

My toilet gets clogged almost weekly. It gets to the point where when I flush, it doesn't take anything down and the bowl fills up completely with water which will drain if I let it sit for 15-20 minutes. The toilet bowl is oddly shaped so it is hard to plunge. I have to plunge it like 50 times before it will finally flush properly. I had a plumber come in and he used an auger which helped for a little bit, but now it's back to its old tricks. I have a small auger which I use but it doesn't help (maybe the clog is too far down?) Any suggestions?

I have a fuschia and an angel's trumpet that aren't doing so hot. I guess I should mention that I have a balck thumb. The fuschia is losing all of it's leaves and getting a little crispy. I have it hanging in partial sun and water it frequently as well as spritz it in the eveing with a spray bottle. The angel's trumpet is doing a little better, but it;s leaves are starting to yellow, and I'm not sure what's wrong with it. It's about 2 ft. high now and has never bloomed. Can anyone give me some advice or should I stick to cacti?

We are redecorating our bathroom. We are on a very limited budget. We can't afford to rip out the old tiles and put in new, so we're wondering if there is something we can do to make them look new and/or different. Such as painting them? That was my idea, but not sure that tiles can be painted? Can they? And if so how? What exact steps do we need to do to paint the tiles? Or any other ideas on making them look better? Thanks in advance.
