My toilet gets clogged almost weekly. It gets to the point where when I flush, it doesn't take anything down and the bowl fills up completely with water which will drain if I let it sit for 15-20 minutes. The toilet bowl is oddly shaped so it is hard to plunge. I have to plunge it like 50 times before it will finally flush properly. I had a plumber come in and he used an auger which helped for a little bit, but now it's back to its old tricks. I have a small auger which I use but it doesn't help (maybe the clog is too far down?) Any suggestions?

It's not on a septic tank. It's also an upstairs toilet (2nd floor) if that helps. And there aren't any trees nearby that could be affecting it.

u may have an object in the toilet that the augar passes when used.... have the plumber return and pull the toilet to inspect for any problem.... if no object found he may want to run a k-60 sewer cable down the main line.... or u can always replace the problem toilet... sometimes the just give up on us because of age and use... good luck

a lot of it may have to do with your toliet paper. im seriouse! if you buy the thicker paper it doesnt decompose as quickly and easily. Although it feels a lot better no your tushy try a cheaper brandthat is thinner. It breaks down much quicker and wont clog the system as much

hope this helps good luck!

I agree, sounds like you have something in the toilet and the only way to get it out is to pull the toilet. It could be a rubber ball or a cue tip.

Your giant monster turds are clogging it. It's probably your septic tank. Get some stuff from the store that helps clean it out.

A lot of times tree roots grow into the sewer line and that cause stuff to back up.
