Hi, I currently grow cucumbers in my greenhouse but wondered what you have to do to grow them in the winter, eg the temperature they need to be kept at, what special equipment i need etc. Thanks

My question is: How long will it take this cherry wood to darken up. I've put 4 coats on and I'm trying to acheive that classic cherry look.

PS...that's all that's on it

The doors face the lake and the wind drives the water under the door. We still need to use the door to go outside but need to stop the large puddles after storms.

Can I keep on reseasoning them until they are truly nonstick? I've tried making eggs in them and the eggs stick too much. I want to make sure these pans are really nonstick before I use them again. How many times can I reseason them? I usually rub some crisco on them and stick them in the oven upside down at 550 degrees F for one hour.

I live in South Central Kentucky. What would be a close estimate of the cost( for labor plus materials) of rough plumbing and rough electrical, and HVAC installation in a new home. It will be 1500 sq. ft. 3 bdrm, 2 ba., Ranch style with full unfinished basement.

I have central a/c in my home. I used to turn it off during the day when I'm not home, but someone told me that it costs more money to cool down a hot home, then it does to let the a/c run all day. If that's true, what is the best temperature for energy efficiency and cooling?
