We just moved into this town house, and I guess it was vacant for a while, but it stinks and it is driving me CRAZY!! I have candle lit all the time, we mop and sweep almost daily, I use bleach a lot when cleaning the counters. But when you walk in the door, it is not a nice home-like smell. Is there some odor eater candle?spray? Something that can give it a good smell??

I really have limited time as I am moving out tomorrow. I have already put one coat of primer on it, but it looks VERY uneven and patchy and I didn't know if that is what it is supposed to look like. Would I be ok if I put the white paint on next? Or do you think I need another coat of primer? I really can't afford to buy much more paint as I am a very poor college student. Help!

My sink has no overflow so when the water drains it goes down very slowly. I was told if I changed the existing sink drain which has 18 small holes, to a drain which has 16 larger holes, it would help the water evacuate better. anyone have a clue if this is true? Or even what other options do i have. Changing the sink is not an option.

My back yard is pretty big. Lot is 50 ft wide, house is 30 feet I think. Want to get a room built all along the back. very plain, no frills. Would need one small bathroom. Wood or CB. House is OLD CB from 1942.
A good sized oak is too near the house and would have to be removed.
thank you. I realize any answers would have to be very "ballpark".

I planted my first sweet corn this year and about two weeks ago a storm knocked over 5 of my stalks but only broke 1. So, I pole tied them and let them keep growing. This morning I went out to the garden and ALL my stalks were broken (about 3-4 feet from the ground) AND all of the corn and husks were gone or empty as well. Some of the husk strips and silks (definitely not all, some were missing) were lying on the ground but all but one of the cobs were completely gone. The one remaining cob had some of the husk on it but all the kernels were gone. What happened? Has anyone had this happen? Was it a animal or a more human threat?

I was watching the infomercial about this Free and Clear home buying program where you only pay the property tax for the home and don't have to pay the mortgage and I was wondering if that was really possible or was it just a scam.

I am planing on buying a new multitool since i have lost mine recently and am needing advice. I previously have owned a swiss army knife and am choosing between another swiss army or leatherman. I have been loyal to swiss and like there style and variety better but the leatherman seems for much more heavier/urban working. i have looked into both and would like to Know if there any suggestions on the models of each company that would be best. (i usually am in the city and use it for everyday use and occasionally go adventering)

These propane heaters only burn 1 gal of fuel per 5 hours. Does anyone know the manufacturers name. They are widely used mostly up in Maine.
