Can anyone tell me how to rid my garden of spiders. I am absolutely terrified of them. I know they cannot hurt me and are good to be there....but NOT SO MANY!!! There is a plague of them every year from now till October. I do not want to kill or harm them but I need to discourage them from my garden. Help!

you can't get rid of them, you just have to learn to live with them, fast as you get them out of your garden then more will come in. You could dig up the garden and concrete it all over, gives them less to hide and live in.

Encourage frogs and toads for one thing.
Remove the hiding places they be using.
Burn citronella candles or torches periodically.
Please don't kill them, just work to move them.
The flies, gnats, and other pests they control far out-way any ugliness you find.
Like all wild creatures, they are more afraid of you, then you are of them.

RE: the thanks to remove spiders (countless species) in and round homestead? I merely moved into the lower back 0.5 of a house and that i've referred to plenty spiders around the homestead windows and backyard. Is there any easy answer to remove them (except fumigating)? no longer optimistic in the adventure that they make especially spider traps. Any records is favourite - thanks.
