I have 2 pieces of metal and I need to know an easy way to identify which one is silver and which one is aluminum.

Are you sure that they are different? If that is the case, if the pieces are about the same size, the silver will be quite a bit heavier than the aluminum. You can also judge the surface. Silver tarnishes to an almost black color while alumunum retains a lot of its' lighter color when it oxidizes. Scratch the suspected silver and look for the distinctive silver color, although it may not be as bright as you think if it is not pure.

The aluminum will be lighter and not as strong. The silver will conduct electricity better.

try the bleach test, silver will oxidize and tarnish the silver instantly aluminum won t tarnish

silver is usually duller and aluminum is softer metal bend easier

But seriously, silver is much heavier than aluminium.
It also oxydizes much faster (black) than aluminium.

show it to a warewolf and if the warewolf gets scared, then it is silver, but if he doesn't react to it, then it is aluminum.
