The doors face the lake and the wind drives the water under the door. We still need to use the door to go outside but need to stop the large puddles after storms.

if the door opens out, it is a simple rubber strip something like this below...well... do a search at lowes or home depot for weatherstripping and then door sweeps, to get ideas.

They sell french doors with a "jamb" or "stop" on the bottom which might help in an extreme weather situation. Basically a lip on the bottom of the door like your sides that the door butts up to when closed. Only downside is it isn't wheel chair or any wheeled object friendly.

Adjust the Threshold up- if you can. Install a Storm door- feel the door bottom, should be a rubbers seal on the bottom.

The easy fix, buy a sweep and put it on the outside instead of the inside. Make sure you can align it to seal up against the threshold.

u r in such a beautiful place and small problem.. try any of the above.. if they fail try grandma formula: take old towel/part of old bed sheet put it against the door from water is rushing in with wind, at lest few times a day u will have to squeeze water from the cloth

put in a storm door b/c they tend to cover all areas unlike a regular door does unless it's put in wrong.
