My question is: How long will it take this cherry wood to darken up. I've put 4 coats on and I'm trying to acheive that classic cherry look.

PS...that's all that's on it

Cherry darkens on its own over time. You will see major changes in weeks to months. Sunlight is the best way to speed the process. Careful because any constant shadows on the piece will affect how that area darkens. Just relax and let it happen. And please don't ever ruin cherry with stain!
