Hi! I am in desperate need of finding candles (unique) in the shape of peas and carrots--doesnt matter how big or small--I have seen them before but now I cannot find them--I actually just bought one in the shape of a carrot but now need the "pea pod" If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear.
Thanks!

I seem to have a real difficult time with the math, we have a test next week and I cant seem to remember any of the formulas, I work really hard and get good marks in ever other part of the couse besides the math, if you put in the effort and you fail the test once does it look bad on you as a worker to have failed the math once?

I have water softner for the whole house but it does not help. The water appears cloudy when you fill a glass, but then clears. I could see some whisps of smoke coming from it as it clears over a few seconds. I know Santa Clara, CA has hard water, but this is just odd. Any ideas why and how to fix it?

Our last electric bill was INSANE. Our house doesn't have ceiling fans, so we decided to install some... so if we run the ceiling fans on high all the time but bump the thermostat up to like 85, can we save a significant amount of money, or will running the ceiling fans on high be costly also?

I've tried vinegar but it only tones down the odor. I can't use fragranced products to cover the odor because of allergy. (I do wear deoderant.) Any ideas?

I bought half as many impatiens as I needed because I heard you can prune off the gangly parts (they were overgrown from the nursery) and "poke" them in the ground. Word was, the clippings will take and grow just as prolifically as regular ones. Has anyone tried this?

We rent a one-family house which has a regular bathroom with a tub and shower upstairs. Downstairs, in an unfinished basement, there is also a half-bath with just a toilet/sink/shower.Tihe hot water tank is in the basement. We just can't seem to get any water pressure when we are trying to take a shower upstairs or when we work at the kitchen sink. We have lived here since April 24, 2006. Our landlord lives right next door. I hate to bother them if there is nothing that can be done anyway. Any ideas/suggestions/thoughts? It is also very hard to regulate the water temperature in the shower as far as hot and cold. It seems to be either very hot or very cold before you finally get it adjusted.

Can I have it surveyed to determine where the property line sits, and about how much does it cost? How do they do it?

I had painted my bathroom and decided i didn't like the dark color so the next day I put Kilz(primer) over it. As it was going on it was sticky a little and dried in places like an orange peel. What should I do now?

I know there are laws for us not to pick up the towns garbage, but.......this is getting out of hand where you watch the men put things in the truck instead of crushing it. Isn't that stealing from your job???

I have two rows of sunflowers planted. The first row is about two feet tall with leaves larger than my hand. The second row, which was planted about two weeks later, is about six inches tall.
My problem is that there is a TON of grass (at least I think it's grass. The blades are wide but not thick) growing in the flower bed. It's way too much to pull by hand, so I'm wondering if there's any kind of spray I can use-- or even better, make at home-- that will kill the weeds but not the sunflowers.
Thanks!! :)

Whereas the leaves grow upward in the middle, mine has flattened or fanned out. I wonder will the leaves ever perk up again, or is this natural? Help ... I don't want to loose them!

I am trying to figure out how to make latex paint "transparent." Is there anything I can add? Its a technique I am trying after painting a solid color on my wall, and then adding a transparent color (darker) with possibly a feather duster. My friend suggested I buy irredescent paint for this purpose, but I have already purchased the color I want, and it is just a solid color of latex. Any idea's?

We are looking for unique modern if such a thing exists per the lamps.

Per the desk we have been to many retailers in lower manhattan, but they all carry the same crap. We are not looking for a computer desk, but not a large desk either. We would like a desk that will look good/ blend-in with living room furniture.

Any suggestions?

the walls will be for a strom shelter. Was thinking solid concrete with rebar or blocks filled with concrete and rebar. Thickness will be 8 inches on both. I think that will be enough unless someone has a better idea. Thanks for all the help you can give.

Hi, Do I need to inform the electrical company if I need to turn off the power in order to change the panel from Fuses to Breakers?
My electrician says I don't have to, he can just take out the meter and this will cause the Power to be off. The problem is that I think there is a seal on the meter and the electrical company will not like it that he took the seal off. Any electrician out there with Advice? Or someone experienced?

I appreicate your reply,
Thank you

We planted seed about 3 weeks ago and the grass is starting to come up but it seems like my lawn is getting infested with weeds. We killed the weeds before we planted our grass seed but now there are like 9749327947329 more weeds. It's ridiculous and my lawn looks like crap. I need help. We live in Minnesota and have an underground sprinkler system.

I have two new neighbors who recently moved into the apartment below me. Our patios are stacked on top of each other. I have no problem with them actually smoking, but when they smoke outside, it drifts up through my patio and into my open window. THey keep their patio door shut to keep smoke from getting into their house, yet it all comes into mine. They are nice people, and I don't want to start some sort of feud. How do I approach them about not smoking outside . . . I mean its outside?

A 5/8" - 12 foot drywall was inadvertently hung above a 1/2" drywall in a bedroom of my future house. Someone plans on using a wider piece of tape to cover the incongruent seams, claiming I won't be able to tell the difference. Are there other reasons why I should re-hang it with the appropriate 1/2" drywall or should I leave it be?
