I've tried vinegar but it only tones down the odor. I can't use fragranced products to cover the odor because of allergy. (I do wear deoderant.) Any ideas?

You need this spray called Approach. You can get it online at www.approachit.net

It is the best odor eliminator around and it will completely eliminate the odor in your clothes with no coverup smells and there are NO harsh chemicals to react to allergies.

Spray your clothes as liberally as you can until the odor is completely gone. (You can also pour it right on). It's water-based so anything that's silk or other water-is-bad-for-it fabrics will have to be cleaned another way.

Good luck!

Youre washer may not be working good. I had that happen, my clothes started smelling cause my washer wasnt rinsing.
You could watch a wash cycle by opening lid and outting a magnent where the lid shuts so you" fool" the washe rinto thinking the lid is down, Then you can see if water is clean or not.
Also use ALL fragrance free, allergen liquid soap

I suppose the clothes are made of polyester because sintetic fibers will trap body odors.
If your clothes are 100% polyester you can safely add some diluted bleach to your wash no matter what color it is and it will kill all the odor causing germs.
In the future you may want to consider natural fibers that wash better and donnot withhold body odors.

Pre-soak garments in a solution ofWashing Soda. You can use the pre-soak setting on your washer or do it in a separate container.

Wash with warm or hot water and use Arm and Hammer laundry detergent.

If possible dry your clothes inside out in sunlight or atleast in the open air instead of the dryer.

Add Lysol. Lysol kills bacteria and it's the bacteria that causes the odors. Rinse the laundry with clear water a couple of times after laudering with Lysol.

Wash in cold water. Warm or hot water locks in sweat. Try drying in open air and sun, if possible. Will definitely work.

A little known trick is to use some shampoo in the laundry. Why? (thanks for asking) Because shampoo is formulated to break-up the dirt and oils your body naturally produces. Good Luck.
