I had painted my bathroom and decided i didn't like the dark color so the next day I put Kilz(primer) over it. As it was going on it was sticky a little and dried in places like an orange peel. What should I do now?

Paint is required to "cure" for 14 days.. By painting the surface again the very next day, you caused a chemical reaction with the still wet (although, not to the touch) paint and the kitz.. You're probably going to have to go ahead and sand the surface down then use the kitz first, then paint whatever color your going to want to go with over that..

You probably used alcohol based Kilz and it was too "hot" for the existing paint (hot means the primer's solvent melted into the old paint before it dried).

The old paint probably wasn't ordinary paint - probably an latex-enamel.

All you can do is sand the spots down, OR use Goof-Off OR liquid sandpaper. If need be Spackle it to even it out. Finally use a water based primer product.

the wall was dirty. hairspray ect will get on bathrooms walls and cause paint to orange peel. you need to sand the kilz just in the places this happened then wash the area with tsp. rinse, allow to dry repaint. always prior to painting you need to prep the walls by washing them tsp is one of the best things to do this with. oh you may have used a semi gloss paint which would cause an orange peel to. same fix though
