I seem to have a real difficult time with the math, we have a test next week and I cant seem to remember any of the formulas, I work really hard and get good marks in ever other part of the couse besides the math, if you put in the effort and you fail the test once does it look bad on you as a worker to have failed the math once?

Write the formula's down on 3x5 inch index cards and keep them on you. When ever you have a free moment, look them over. Also imagine the instructor asked you to teach new kids the formulas. This way you will have to find a simple way of explaining them, that you will in turn end up remembering.
