It doesn't have anything to do with bugs or other pests and tastes just as good as smoothskinned squash. The outer skin might be just slightly tougher.

ok, i'm a first time rose grower. i've got to bushes i've just put in the back yard about a week ago, each with about a half bag of manure. is there anything else i need to know for care and keeping? (experienced people or websites, no b.s.ing please).

i have cucumber and watermelon plants in my garden. its my first year for these two. i have lots of flowers but only 2 cucumbers and Lots and lots of watermelon flower and only 2 melons, and thats on 3 water melon plants. what can i do to get less male flowers and more female

Me and my roommate rented an apartment in march and everything was fine. Then she said she was going to open a business and she quit her job in april. She never opened her business, meanwhile i was paying my half of the rent all along. Now we are got an eviction notice and with both our names on the lease, they are taking both of us to court. Its not my fault we got the notice, what do i do when i get to court. I dont want to leave!!!

I am looking to do my house carpet thinking it may be cheaper than buying new. I don't want to have to worry about odor or the dye coming off on your clothing if you are laying on the carpet or anything like that though. Thank you ahead of time for your answers!

I live in a condo and the hot water heater provides hot water to everywhere except the shower. How could it possibly provide hot water to all the sinks but not the shower? I can't find any shower valves (unless they're underneath the condo)....any advice?

I went to Home Depot twice and asked this question to 2 different "experts". One said 24" and the other debated between 36" and 41". We live about 40 miles north of Detroit, Michigan.

Also, one said that 60 pounds of contrete is enough and the other said 120 pounds (per post). Some was to go around the post and some inside.

My bathroom faucet turned on three times by itself in the last 2 weeks that I am aware of. The first two times I heard it go on all by itself. I was right outside the bathroom door so I know no one was in there. I went into the bathroom and turned it off. It was the cold water that was on full blast. First time was 1am the second was at 9am? I asked my brother who is a plumber and he said it is not possible for that happen. I am on a private well so he said cannot be due to water pressure. The third time it happened my husband heard it. He said he heard thumping (like walking) toward the bathroom in the middle of the night, then he heard the water turn on. He went back to sleep with out investigating. But in the morning the water wasn't on. I am holding out for a mechanical reason. Help me debunk a ghoslty conclusion.

Someone at work cooked fish in the microwave, OMG does it stink. I scrubbed it down with simple green til it was whiter than it was when it was bought, it's been three days now and the smell is still there. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the horrible smell?

I have a sterling silver ring I put in a felt pouch for traveling, when I took it out, it had a very thick dull finish on it. I purchased the polishing cloths and used the paste but it is not completely removing it, can anyone recommend anything to help? :(
