I live in a condo and the hot water heater provides hot water to everywhere except the shower. How could it possibly provide hot water to all the sinks but not the shower? I can't find any shower valves (unless they're underneath the condo)....any advice?

It is a pretty good guess you have an anti-scald shower valve. The pressure balance valve controls water temperature by sensing pressure differences between the hot and cold water pipes that feed the valve. You can get scalded by pressure differences. If you happen to be showering and another individual somewhere else in the house turns on a hose or flushes a toilet, the pressure and volume may change in the cold water line leading to the shower faucet. This may cause the temperature of the water coming from the valve to increase, even though the hot water was not turned up.

Well i think you should contact the person who owns the condos and ask him where the shower valves are. If he cant help, call a plumber he might be able to fix it.

Its the faucet in your shower, its not letting you turn to hot, take off the handle and see if its stripped out, then try a pair of vise grips and turn the stem to see if you get hot water that way

Somewhere along your hot water pipe, you probably have a clog. Considering your bathroom sink has hot water, it is probably the pipe, or your hot water handle is broken and not turning on the hot water at all.

That sounds a little odd to say the least I would contact a plumber although I'm sure that's not what you want to hear. It could be hidden behind a wall. But I wouldn't monkey around.
