Am I the only woman in the Uk who cannot get spaghetti stains and baked bean stains out of my babys clothes? Orange stains galore after a real good wash. I've even tried the spray on vanish for clothes but that doesn't get them out. What washing powder does everyone use and does yours work at getting baby clothes clean?

I have this nasty stuff, probably from hard water, in my tub and shower. What's the best way to get rid of it without having to break my back scrubbing? Also, is there any cleaner that I can use that isn't toxic?

I have a wasp nest on my apartment balcony. Sometimes there's one, sometimes two wasps working on it. I've come quite close to them as I hang my baby's laundry right in front of the nest. Initially, I ignored it because the wasps didn't seem aggressive. Plus, I don't like killing anything.

The thing is, the nest is getting bigger! It's about 2 inches now. I read on YA that wasps just keep on building....The creatures haven't harmed us in any way yet, but the last thing I want is a swarm of wasps sharing my balcony. Most of all, I'm worried about my baby's safety.

Should I leave them alone? Will they leave eventuallly? Or should I attempt to remove the nest myself or call an exterminator?

My husband would like a pumpkin colored room (think Starbucks colors) and I can't seem to find the right shade. I looked online and found some great colors but when I went to Home Depot they looked completely different. I'm thinking of Sweet Mandarin (s-G-220) but a little lighter maybe? Can anyone help?

Also I'm thinking of adding a tiny area of a brighter orange. So if anyone can suggest a color that would look good with a Chartreuse (more yellow tones than green - think glow in the dark bone -lol)? The rooms would be seperated but I'd like them to look okay anyway.

Thank you!

those with small flowers would be nice.
those that can survive air-conditioned rooms.
we have lots of sunlight, though, so it won't be a problem.

This has helped a great deal with removing clutter from my life. Because I can look at my possession with new eyes, if it's not from nature, it's out. That accounted for 15% of all my possessions. Also, when I shop I buy only natural things (wood, stone, glass, metal) that has cut down my spending by 30% because sometimes natural products are more expensive, so I would rather do without than put plastic in the house.
How do you get rid of clutter?

I went to a friend's house the other day and I felt this energy there. I wondered what it was. When I looked around I noticed she didn't have anything plastic in her home. Everything was made of wood, glass, metal or stone. So I started to get rid of everything plastic, even those plastic pencils (now only wooden ones) and do you know I now feel a certain energy passing through the house. Anyone else had this experience?

How did you do it without it looking like just a twin mattress? Did you put it on a regular metal bed frame or a wooden platform? What kind of fabric did you cover it with? If you haven't done this, but have seen one, could you tell me about it? I am planning on doing this in a bedroom. Thanks. If you are just looking for quick points, please don't answer. Serious answers only please.

I need some grapefruit size rattan or wicker balls to put in a bowl for a centerpiece. I have seen them in catalogues (sp?) but only as decorations for big furniture pieces they are selling, never for sale themselves. Or wooden balls would work too. I have searched online, tried ebay, looked at target, pier one etc etc etc and can't find them for sale anywhere. Obviously someone has to sell them, but can't seem to find where. Any ideas?

I was burnishing some floors with a burnisher that has a fairly new 14 hp onan engine, propane with electric start. When I shut it off for a few minutes and started it back up, it backfired. Does anyone have a clue as to why it would do this?
