I sell on eBay and found what looks to be a brown open salt dip and it is marked HALL on the bottom but can find nothing on internet or eBay that Hall ever made these? Can anyone tell me if Hall in fact made some of these and if this is a rare piece? Thanks for any help you can give!! Kim

I have a dirt driveway which I would like to have paving. I am wondering what I could estimate the cost to be for paving approx 40 feet by 10 feet by a pro. Can someone recommend other options besides paving? I don't want stones, live in Northeast. Please provide some details if possible.

My house is south facing and I need to cover some unsigtly streeks on brickwork that will not come out. the area I need to cover is only about 5 feet by 2 feet. this can be climbing or trailing. I would like this aspect ( plant ) to be evergreen, proberbly some type of Ivy or maybe a mix of 2 plants. something attractive all year round. It will need to be on a wall mounted container hopefully no more than about 18" long 6" wide and 10" deep, these sizes are approxamate.

I remember seeing these above the doorways in Hotel Conneaut, a Hotel that was built around 1905. It had a long brass lever that opened up the window horizontally. I'm guessing it had a specific name, other than vent window...

When the top paper of the dry wall has come off, do I have to use a special product, other than the plaster that is normally used for repairing damaged drywalls.

I have skim coated mine, sanded and primed. But the new paint did not stick, and the skim coat when I sand it a little harder, goes all the way back to the porous, brown paper of the drywall.

I have an above ground pool (it's 14 ft around and 3 1/2 ft deep) My backyard is all uneven and I've heard that using sand to level the ground is the cheap and easy way to do it, but I don't know how to go about doing it. Any ideas?

When I was a kid, my mom had this special lamp that was made for defrosting the freezer quickly... sadly I don't have this or a "frost free" freezer. Can anyone share some tips?

Thanks

I had the chimney repointed three years ago when it caused a damp patch on our bedroom wall and then repapered and emulsioned over it.The problem reoccurred but after having the brickwork spayed with a water repellent the damp patch has dried out leaving a water mark and a few black marks. Can I just paint over this or will their be mould growth.

I had beautiful expensive white towels that I had managed to keep snowy white for years. I have always washed with Tide Powder with Bleach. I bought a cheap package of white and tan dish towels at Wal Mart and made the mistake of tossing them in with my beautiful white towels. The towels came out off white. I wasn't too concerned as I can clean anything. I bought some liquid bleach and soaked overnight. Didn't do a thing! I don't get it as I have even washed my pale yellow towels with my white ones and the white ones stay snowy white. It was these three new tan dish towels. How do I remove this color transfer and get white towels back?
