I have been told I have to remove the male flowers or the fruit will be bitter but which is which as if I remove the wrong one there will be no cucumbers. Please help!

I have in my appartment at the entrance such a piece of grey carpet. I found it there when I moved and since I cannot afford to change it at the moment and I have a lot of free time I was thinking to wash it. But can this be done without destoying it? It is that kind of carpet that can be bought by meter. I mean that one can buy 1 meter as well as 10. On the back it has a layer of sponge or something. It is not such a great quality and I would say it also at least a few years old. So, what do you think?! Should I wash it? And what kind of washing powder or shampoo should I use? Thanks a lot!

Those creatures are around half centimeter long and they crawl like worms, but they look more like an ugly butterfly with the wings tight to the body. They have the colour of sand and they run fast. I first saw them in the bathroom. It is indeed moist there, but they seem to live in water also. But then they appeared also in the kitchen. And since I hate to have creatures in my kitchen cupboards, I hope that some of you have any ideas about how I can get rid of them. Thanks!

i was researching in google and couldn't find much on it so i decided to come here. i need to know, all i know is that its a fast growing apple tree and that the climate where i am is perfect for growing them. i also want to know how you make them germinate, do you put them in a cup of water of something? i did that with my garlic and it germinated in a day. thanks for the help.

I have pets so i can't use chemicals. But I just want to know if anyone has any suggestions on preventing them from coming up here. I've been keeping the house really clean so they wouldn't want to be up here but I see one about once a week, and the saying is "if there's one. there's millions".

We live on a private culdesac and our neighbors have a boat in front of their house in the street. When Sunday rolls around and we have Open House to sell our house, there's that boat, along with everyone's trucks kind of blocking the road so potential buyers of our house turn around and leave. It looks so crowded and who would want to live on such a busy looking culdesac. HELP I WANT TO MOVE, BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE OF THE NEIGHBORS! All of our neighbors are nice and we all get along, however, I need to know the best way to word "GET THAT BOAT OFF OUR STREET!"
