me and my partner are in the process of refurbishing a house to sell, and all the ceilings are artexed.he is now paying a fortune to get rid of it, but i love it, he says that no one will buy the house if the artex is still there, as it is old fashioned, would it stop you from buying a house? as i think hes talking a load of rubbish, sorry for rambling.

I applied some super glue on my broken plastic shades but a bit of the glue got onto the shades itself. The shades now have a little stain on them. How do I remove that?

This has been happening for six months and I have stopped using it. But it is very embarrasing when guests open it and are startled by the loud vibrating noise. Any suggestions on fixing it will be greatly appreciated.

Its really weird, they (4 in total) are dying one by one, not all at the same time, even though they were planted at the same time and are positioned side by side (trying to grow a hedge). The Garden Centre down the road from where I live say it could be foxes spraying their teritory....

I have a few small tomato plants I got from the farmers market. I tried to transplant them into large pots. Now they are very week & wilted & one broke off near the base of the stem. I planted it but, can I do anything to help the roots grow on the broken stem so I can replant it? What do I do for the others? I know very little about growing tomatos. Any Info or tips you can give me would be great.

Near the cement patio, there are burrowing holes, and we keep covering them with bricks, but new holes appear alongside the old ones.
I don't think they are mice, rats, or snakes... anything else... anyone had a similar problem...
Any suggestions to rid these burrowing pests???
Thanks!!!

I know it is hard to demonstrate on Answers. But if you have a link to the technique I would appreciate it. I have been trying in vain for months.

They are little tiny grayish brown spiders. Every day I usually find a couple of spiders floating on the toilet water, and sometimes I find one suspended below the vent. Occasionally I see one in my tub or sink. I can't get rid of them. I have cleaned my bathroom with bleach, and taken off and cleaned the vent. I don't see any spider webs. How can I make them go away for good?

a friend recently told us that he turns the water heater in his home off in the late morning, after taking a shower, and turns it back on early morning, about an hour before he showers. does this actually save energy/money? will doing this damage the water heater?

i know people turn water heaters off during extended periods of time (e.g. vacations), but is the day-to-day solution a good one?

Would adding extra bedrooms and bathroom be helpful? Add a second floor? Extend the garage so that it fits more cars? Add gates? Also, if anyone can recommend me a book that could point me in the right track, I'll give you points. I live in area code 91744.
