They are little tiny grayish brown spiders. Every day I usually find a couple of spiders floating on the toilet water, and sometimes I find one suspended below the vent. Occasionally I see one in my tub or sink. I can't get rid of them. I have cleaned my bathroom with bleach, and taken off and cleaned the vent. I don't see any spider webs. How can I make them go away for good?

Use Cedar Oil spray. Spiders do not like it. You can buy it at a Linens Plus or other sheets & towels type store. Look for the product that refreshes cedar wood blocks for closets. It's reddish. Spray in high corners of a room. Spiders like warm places. Also, spray where carpet meets baseboard. Don't spray a lot, a little spritz works. Do not spray on anything cloth because it will stain. Believe me, they will not come back. There is a place in Florida where you can buy it by the gallon...for big spiders (joke).

One other thing --- spiders eat ants. They eat the ant legs first. Go figure. Get rid of your ants, and your spiders will go away. Also, don't let vines grow on the outside of your house. Those make nice spider nests and soon they visit the inside of your house.

it seems like those little suckers can find their way into any room no matter what you try.
the fact is, if you find spiders daily, you have an infestation. and i probably has nothing to do with your bathroom. the source of the problem is elsewhere in the house or possibly outdoors. this will be an expensive suggestion but a darn good one. call an exterminator. but instead of telling him to spray the house explain the problem and ask him to search for a specific cause.
my mother had a scorpion (yes, SCORPION) infestation. she tried every poison known to man but no matter what she tried, they came back in full force. an exterminator sent out to the house cost me a pretty penny but within days (yes, DAYS), my mom had seen the end to her scorpion problem. she used to find ten a day in various areas of the house. the last four years since the exterminator was contacted she has not seen a single scorpion inside the house. he returns once a year for a check-up.
she's the cleanest person i have ever known. your cleanliness has nothing to do with spiders. you need to find the source but of course i wouldn't suggest that YOU actually do it. hire a professional and say goodbye to those gray monsters forever.

I don't know if this would work for you; but where I live, when we first moved in, on a regular basis, we'd find one of those hairy monsters on the curtain/wall/back of door etc!!
I was having a nervous breakdown!! Then, we saw an ad on telly for a Pest Control thing that you plug in: since we got one, there haven't been any spiders to speak of.....not sure if it works for teeny weeny ones though!!
(Screens on all windows??!)
