Someone else on YA asked about this a couple weeks ago and received a variety of home remedies to get superglue off of her counter top. None of these worked,as she said she tried them all with no luck.

There is a product called superglue remover made by DURO. This will work and it will remove the superglue. You can purchase it at any hardware store or hardware department.

Counters, tables, floors, etc.
Use acetone to soften glue and then start working at the glue. Brush, scrape, shave, peel, sand or whatever mechanical means is available to work the glue off. Reapply acetone and continue to work at the glue.

Take a new(and I emphasize "new")single edged razor blade, and carefully scrape the glue off the table.Go slowly, and chip away little by little so as not to scratch.Super glue, when dry, is very brittle and will chip off if the razor blade is sharp enough.

Angel is correct, it's the acetone that dissolves the glue.
