I applied some super glue on my broken plastic shades but a bit of the glue got onto the shades itself. The shades now have a little stain on them. How do I remove that?

Acetone, just be careful because it can discolor certain materials.

There are some methods but ones I have not tried before. If its a thin film try some nail polish remover. Since its not tested just put a bit first to check if it reacts with the plastic.!!!
Scraping it off with a blade would be a good idea if it were glass shades. If you try it on plastic you will leave permanent scratches.

I would try using a tiny bit of nail polish remover dabbing lightly with a q-tip or kleenix!
