This has helped a great deal with removing clutter from my life. Because I can look at my possession with new eyes, if it's not from nature, it's out. That accounted for 15% of all my possessions. Also, when I shop I buy only natural things (wood, stone, glass, metal) that has cut down my spending by 30% because sometimes natural products are more expensive, so I would rather do without than put plastic in the house.
How do you get rid of clutter?

recycle it.
I try to keep and buy only things I know will still have value and can be resold for at least the same price I bought it for.

If I can't resell it (like say a computer) for what I bought it for than I should buy it cause it currently costs too much.

There's a whole lot of "things" we don't really need. If I buy it and don't even use it for anything I probably shouldnt have bought it.
