Am I the only woman in the Uk who cannot get spaghetti stains and baked bean stains out of my babys clothes? Orange stains galore after a real good wash. I've even tried the spray on vanish for clothes but that doesn't get them out. What washing powder does everyone use and does yours work at getting baby clothes clean?

The only answer is to 'Vanish stick' them as soon as they occur, then I use Persil.

With any orange based stain you have no hope of getting them out if you let them dry.

Unfortunate - but true!

Use a good quality wash powder and I alway add some Vanish Oxy action to my wash. I use a spray of Vanish directly on the stain also. I find in 9 out of 10 cases it DOES work.

Hit it while it's fresh and moist.
Vanish stick is good, but the bar is cheaper, last longer and works just as well. Always use Persil (shops own are rubbish), this philoshy does baby clothes and football kits.

I use Dawn dish soap as a pretreater, even days before I wash, and then wash in warm water.
