We have a concrete culvert in the front yard that sticks up past the grass about 6-8 inches. I would like to cut it off flush with the lawn. Its about 6" thick. I have purchased a diamond cut concrete blade for my circular saw but I am nervous about the cut. Do I make several passes? Shallow then deeper and so on? From both sides? Then knock it off with a sledge? I'm not sure. Please help.

It is a small room , we put a computer desk/shelf combo, added a small loveseat,a filing cabinet to hold , and going today to buy another entertainment center .

(we are removing the kids border of course)

(the one we have is too large, and the t.v. is old,,and we don't use the reference books , and the kids never play the games, nor watch the movies....)

So, I want to make this room,,,more updated, w/ a warm feeling.

I thought about a different taupe that is on it now,,

I want to make it comfy w/out having a theme per say..

I thought about adding palm tree decor but will that go out of style soon?

Should I flow my living room decor into this room? ( tuscany style/ slate tables, iron decor)

I'm planting a small orchard on the back side of my property and I don't want to mow the grass around all my trees. I thought maybe someone new of a solution I could use ( even from a home remedy) would be good.

Hi,
The town I live in just published a new rubbish and recycling fee per house hold ($138), and also, they annouced that effective July 1st, only official town bags will be picked up. The 'special town bags' go for $3.75 per 4 bags of 14Gallons. My question is: Is it legal to claim that the town will only pick up 'town' bags?
I think this is an extremely expensive trash removal service. What is my alternative? Can I go with my rabbish bags to the dumpster myself every week? I appreciate your inputs,
Thank you
