Women's Health - August 2007

I'm not trying to be flagged or anything, but: OK, I know it's hard enough for a guy to enjoy sex with a woman if she isn't properly lubricated. Why in the world would somebody force themselves on a woman for sex, wouldn't that hurt the guy just as much as it hurts the lady? Just curious? I just don't see why dudes would do such a thing.

I'm 17 almost 18. My back is always killing especially after I eat??? I wonder if eating has to do with my back but my back is hurting...I wonder if it's from my chest I'm only 5'2'' 120lb and a 32D. How do I know if my back hurts from my chest?? Will I have back problems when I'm older??

I know sperm can live inside the female for a week, so is it likely that a woman can get pregnant from unprotected sex the day after her period ended? Or is it more likely to get pregnant the following week?

I get:
-severe crampiong in front as well as lower back
-I pass out
-throw up
-can't eat
-occassionally I've gotten a fever on the 1st day

this is a huge problem for me because it's the only reason I ever miss school and this year I am taking AP classes, I can not fall behind!!

Also, the weight was mostly on my hips, I've lost 11 pounds already but I need advice to lose inches on my hips!!

She has been trying for 2 years and is undergoing tests for fibroids. She has been told if she got pregnant she may end up losing the baby and possibly have to have a hysterectomy. Now I am pregnant after trying for 2 months and don't know how to tell her. She is a friend as well as my boss.

I have been on the pill for 4-5 months and this time my period only last one day and there was a light flow.. is this something to worry about or is it semi normal? Generally since I started to take the pill I have had odd periods but they would last at least 3 days.

OK i went for a pap two weeks ago and the pap was normal so nothings wrong.

I am on the pill mercilon, i have been taking it for 2.5 yrs. i miss a few pills every now and then. last week tues and wed i missed pills due to losing them... they popped out the pack and landed somewhere and i havent seen them since! then two days later (friday) i started bleeding. i am in the third week of my pack. its very brown and sometimes red, it has been going on like this for 4days, very light though- i cant use a tampon coz its too dry i have also had cramping during this time. so it could be considered spotting. the thing is i have been having unprotected sex with my partner for a few weeks, is this breakthrough bleeding or could it be implantation bleeding? i did miss a few pills in my first week of this pack due to stress and general forgetfullness. i have never had breakthrough bleeding before! and i have missed pills like this before.

will i get a normal period when placebo comes?

I don't know how I did it, but I looked at my pills this morning and the next one in line was Wednesday's not Monday's. Somehow I've managed to take two extra pills without realising, I take them first thing in the morning when I take my three thyroxine tablets, so I think I got them mixed up.

Will this have any bad effects?

5 minutes just to get it in properly bcoz it hurt too much I couldn't bear to open my legs wide enough. The doc said I have very low pain tolerance. The scrapping part (to get a sample) is relatively painless though. Care to share your experience?

I have recentley started dancing once a week and i have noticed that in the past 4 days my breasts are really hurting. Could this be due to exercising? Im pretty sure that im not pregnant as im on the pill. Thanks
