Women's Health - August 2007

I have been quite thin for about 8 months now, I just sort of lost my appetite and that combined with stress has made me a bit thinner than I would like to be. Anyway, my boobs were always a C cup but now they pop out more and they actually DROOP more now. Is this because I lost weight or did they just start drooping? I'm 21.

So if I want my breasts to look normal again do I have to gain weight? Any exercises I can do?

I feel so self conscience a lot. I can't help it. I have my friends and family, and I know that they like me for who I am. I know my friends don't care, but when I'm with them I feel big. I'm not as skinny as them, but I'm not huge either. My family I can tell they think I'm a bit big too. A while ago I was at a family gathering and I was with my cusin when we went by our aunts. They were all like (to my cusin) you look so beautiful. omg you look so beautiful. It made me feel really bad about myself. I went through a small thing where I would trow up the last thing I ate, but I stopped. I'm going to start working out, but I'm scared I'm going to still feel the way I do. Plus when I start to lose weight, something happens where I start to feel bad about myself again, and that causes me to eat and gain it back. What can I do to make me feel better about myself, so I can keep the weight off?

An older freind of mine is 27, and she was diegnosed with breast cancer last year. They put her on treatments, and 4 months ago the cancer spread to both breasts and it was confermed that the cancer was getting worse. 2 weeks ago she went into surgery to have both breasts removed. She is feeling so depressed and i feel so bad for her, but i also feel so helpless. is there anything i can do for her?

I'm 14 years old, and I'm exteremely small for my age.
I look about 12.
People tease and joke about my height and petit frame.
I try eating at least 4 meals a day.
I haven't gotten my period yet.
I really need to know if I'm normal or if I'll grow to be at least 5'3"
Most women in my family are small.

I know your protected 99.9% if you don't miss pills, but after taking it for 3 years will it still be somewhat in your system by missing 3?

I had my period from August 23-28. I normally don't have sore breasts, but every time they are touched, they hurt so bad. I recently started the pill. Is the pill causing my sore breasts? Or am I growing again? What can I do to make it go away??

Ever since I got my first Depo shot, about 2 months ago, I've been bleeding regularly. During that time I passed a big thing the doctor called a cast, that was the lining of my uterus, and anyway I'm still bleeding. I made a doctor appointment but I'm wondering could it be the depo shot?
The point of that shot is so you can have sex and not get pregnant, not have a period so you can't have sex.
I didn't even know my body had that much blood, and I feel horrible. Does anybody know what's wrong?

ok i shower daily but the thing is, sometimes my vagina smells fishy for absolutly no reason =S
i clean throughly after i've been to the loo (for a pee) and i change my underwear regulary aswel
Its getting embarrassing because my boyfriend is gonna want to finger me and i'm ready for it
but i'm to scared that the smell will put him off

after shaving my legs today i put on some lotion and immediatley felt the burn you get when you shaved with a duller razor....now i have razor burn..its not super bad but its noticable...i have a date later tonight and just wanna know if theres a way to tone it down or something.

i was told like good is 70-140 and my midwife told me that 90 fasting was high but bc i had pcos was good. well this morning it was 100 fasting and now i feel really awful so i took it again and its 82 2hrs after eating(junk) its never been that low. now im tired and my head hurts im dizzy and my ears ache. so i was just wondering if anyone knew the normal levels for pcos?? thanks

I have a conspiracy theorist in my office and he posed the question about the long long term safety of the vaccine. How long has it been studied?
