Well other than for the fact it is with you for life ,it can be contained with the drug Valtrex.Pregnancy is fine as long as Doctors are aware when giving birth.
Not to mention protecting your partner/husband, via safe sexual practices. ♥

There are no negative ones. You can get occasional outbreaks throughout your life, but they don't do anything - it is harmless, like oral herpes. There is a very small chance of passing it to your baby during childbirth if you are having an outbreak at the time, but doctors would monitor you for that. Herpes is pretty harmless, it is more a nuisance at times than anything else. Most people who have it have no symptoms or incredibly mild symptoms.
It is no different from oral herpes (cold sores). Both type 1 and type 2 herpes, whether the infection is oral or genital, are incredibly common. By leaving high school, 60% of people have type 1 herpes, by age 50 ot is more like 95%. On average 25% of women and 20% of men have type 2 herpes, but by middle age this is 30-40%. To have herpes is the human norm.
As far as safe sex goes, herpes is often passed in long term relaitonships where people are not using protection. It is also easily passed even with condoms - they provide vritually no protection, particularly for a man having sex with a woman with herpes. Herpes is also commonly passed through oral sex, many women catch herpes through receiving oral sex from a man with oral herpes, even if he has no symptoms at the time. That accounts for over half new cases of genital herpes here in the UK. The fact that herpes is an infection which often presents no symptoms but can still be passed when symptoms are not present, and the fact that condoms provide little protection, account for herpes being so common. 80% of people infected with herpes do not even know they have it, and it is not tested for on a standard std screen, so don't think you're 'clean' just because your results look clear.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?
But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

What do you mean? Herpes will come back, it is a life long problem. You also must be careful when pregnant, good idea to seek out medical opinions BEFORE pregnancy. Always use protection.
