I feel so self conscience a lot. I can't help it. I have my friends and family, and I know that they like me for who I am. I know my friends don't care, but when I'm with them I feel big. I'm not as skinny as them, but I'm not huge either. My family I can tell they think I'm a bit big too. A while ago I was at a family gathering and I was with my cusin when we went by our aunts. They were all like (to my cusin) you look so beautiful. omg you look so beautiful. It made me feel really bad about myself. I went through a small thing where I would trow up the last thing I ate, but I stopped. I'm going to start working out, but I'm scared I'm going to still feel the way I do. Plus when I start to lose weight, something happens where I start to feel bad about myself again, and that causes me to eat and gain it back. What can I do to make me feel better about myself, so I can keep the weight off?

You should make a list of all the things you like about yourself. All the things you're good at, and all the things about your body that you like (i.e eyes, bone structure) and everyday just look at yourself in the mirror and think about yourself and add something knew to the list. You'll be surprised at how much you'll end up writing down. Just put down stuff like " Sensitive to others" ect. That sort of thing. Then whenever you're feeling sad you can look back at the list and see that there are sooo many wonderful things about you on both in outside AND inside. Hope this helps! Good Luck

Ahh...dont feel bad! Im sure your beautiful no matter what size you are! Well first off, good job for not throwing up after each meal! :) lol. well i suggest you exercise more. If you dont play any sports, then try just taking the dog out for a walk around the block (or if you dont have a dog, just go by your self or you could see if sometimes you could go with your friend(s)...) try this every morning/ day. You can stick the head phones in and just listen to your music and take a little jog! :) good luck!!

Starting a workout regimen is a great start to start improving yourself and overall health. That is, unless you‘re not really overweight. Only you know the truth to that. If you are bigger than your target BMI then it’s your choice to make if you want to lose weight, but don’t purge or get into unhealthy habits many unfortunately do.

Can you elaborate on why you don’t feel good when you lose weight? Do you lose too much? Do you feel like you’re only doing it to please others? Remember that at times when you’re down there’s nothing wrong with putting yourself first. Self-esteem is important and usually an active lifestyle is good for that.

You should something to boost your self esteem. Try taking a karate class. It would help you get in shape and would build your confidence up via self empowerment. You would make friends who would encourage you to progress and you would do the same for them. And nothing kicks but like girls that kick butt. Check around local community centers, YMCA, YWCA for classes.
Eat Fruit, it's the new junk food.

I strongly suggest you stop comparing yourself to others or you will have a very sad life. Be happy with who you are, respect yourself, be happy with the great things God gave you that only you have.

If you eat healthy you will not gain weight. If you exercise moderately, not fanatically, you will be healthy. Drink water, not sodas, don't binge on junk food and learn what healthy eating is. When you starve yourself, your body thinks it needs to hold onto fat.

Skinny is not beautiful. Healthy is beautiful and sane too.

do u want to be thin or big when ur big u feel bad & u lose weight & u feel bad maybe try losing just enough to put u in the middle not to big not to small like a size 8 thats not small & its not big its sexy u have to start to feel good about ur self u should always love ur self no matter what u look like u have to accept ur self no matter what u look like do not feel low about ur self ur pretty no matter what
