Women's Health - August 2007

Today I just realized that I didnt take my pills Monday and Tuesday. My usually time to take them would be at 4:30 and I wont get off work til 5 and today would be the 3rd day. Can I go home for lunch and take the 2 that I missed and then take the 3rd one today at its regular time or am I no longer safe?

I've been on the pills for about 3 years now and I've been consistent with them. Can someone tell me if its ok to take the 2 pills that I missed during lunch then continue with the 3rd one at its regular time?

Ok im old fashioned never used a tampon but considering it... how does it work exactly I know how to insert it, but my question is after you take it out what happens.. does blood flow or is absorbed into the tampon. my cousin said its like a blocker and once removed all the blood it was holding in is expelled.

I went to the DR today and he told me I was probably missing my period bc I am thin and he called it something that started with an A maybe..Aborea cycle or something? I'm not sure...thanks for your help!

Serious answers only. I am extremely concerned and don't have the patience to deal with jokesters. I am a 26 yr old straight female who does not (and never has nor will) practice anal sex. Recently I experienced pain while having a bowel movement and when I wiped there was bright red blood on the TP. In the same day I had diarrhea but with no bleeding. The next day I passed gas and a blood / mucus mixture was excreted. I called my doctor but the soonest they can see me is in three weeks. I have never had this happen before and am freaking out. Can anyone shed some light on what this might be? Is it something simple like hemerroids or anal fissures?

I was just wondering why some people's veins are so much larger then other peoples? I noticed most of the time that men's are larger then women's but I have noticed that mine seem larger then most women I know. The tops of my hands and the tops of my feet seem to be pretty big most of the time and sometimes alot larger then normal.

Could there be a reason for this or is this normal??

okay. so this morning i went to pee and there was a little blood in it and then about an hour or so later i had to pee again and there was quite a bit of blood.
i'm not sure if it's some sort of infection or if it's my period.
i'm supposed to be getting my period soon though.

It has been a week and half already,my treatments have been over for half a week, i felt better. I had intercourse with my partner and it burned quite a bit, I don't understand. Is it becuase it's not gone yet, and it will go away on it's own, or is it back? Or is it something else?Should I seek medical attention? Lastly, i went to my doctor and he tested my urine. He said I have a bladder infection as well, so now I'm on meds for that. Can that be what's causing this?
