If it is light by then you may be fine without anything. I was on my last day of my period when I was at my guys friends house and he pushed me in his pool. :P I didn't want to get because by that time he was in the pool along with my other friend had dived in and I couldn't really tell him that I couln't swim because I was having my period (awkwarddd). It was fine, even though my pad filled with alot of water and became huge. :P but I was wearing baggy shorts so nobody could tell. :]

You CANNOT go swimming if you don't use a tampon.
Water does not stop a period. it just washes away the blood. And then all your friends will be swimming in your blood.
Plus, swimming without a tampon could lead to an infection from the pool water (even with the chlorine).
No tampon=no pool.

Do you want to be humiliated and embarrassed by having your period and swim without a tampon?!??!?!?!??
You WILL still bleed, you will make the water unsanitary with your menstrual flow in the pool, and you will be an embarrassed little girl when blood is running down your legs when you get out of the water.
Its either tampons, or moon/diva cup OR NO SWIMMING.

Wear a lite tampon is really the only answer. If not, ur period should be over by saturday or really lite. Periods slow down when u submerge in the water. Just be super careful because u might leave a trail of blood when u get out. Have a towel near by and then just RUSH to the bathroom.
i still say tampon tho, just wear a light or juniors. plastic all the way

Just wear a small tampon. If it's going to be your first time using tampons I suggest attempting to use them a few times before Saturday so you get the hang of getting them in and what not. Just remember to change the tampon every 4-6 hours and you'll be fine.
Hope this helps. :-)

The only way to swim is to wear a tampon. I got mine the day before vacation and had to wear a tampon so.. just try it out.
Vaseline helps to get it in there. A pad would swell up the size of a balloon if it got that wet.
Just try one out.

The only way you can get in the water and swim is by wearing a tampon. I know you said that you refuse to wear one but thats the only way you can get in the water. I mean you can't wear a pad in the water that would feel uncomfortable and would just soak up the water.

look i got my period last week and i didnt want to wear a tampon either!
if you put it in right you really cant feel them!
use a low flow one because they are small and then you can swim!
your period might not even be there by Saturday!!and if it is it will most likely be minimal!

There is no way to swim unless you are wearing a tampon. Even if it is light people may see blood in the water. Which is kinda gross and definatly embaressing.
